The classic mistake: open Odoo, start configuring, and realize three months later that the workflow doesn't match how your team actually works. Before any configuration, map your current processes and identify gaps. Odoo should adapt to your processes — not the other way around.

Mistake 2: Enabling Too Many Modules from Day One

Odoo's functional richness is also its biggest source of complexity. Teams get overwhelmed by too many interfaces and unused features. Start with the bare minimum (CRM + Sales + Accounting) and add modules as real needs emerge.
